Columbus Properties Inc, a New York-based firm, has entered the Phoenix market by purchasing a Biltmore-area office building. Columbus bought 24th at Camelback, which is located at 2375 E. Camelback Road, from New York Life Insurance Co. The commercial real estate firm paid $86.1 million for the more than 300,000-square-foot office building, according to real estate database Vizzda LLC. New York Life had purchased the 24th at Camelback in June 2018 for $100 million from Hines. The $86.1 million price tag makes 24th at Camelback easily the top office sale of the year thus far. The deal closed on April 25.
