Resia is seeking approval from the town’s planning board to build 1,296 units on the site of the former TECO Gas Plant. The nearly 18-acre site has undergone environmental remediation, allowing Resia to press on with the project. A Miami Economic Associates study reports the hard costs of building the North Towne Apartments would be $100.75 million and it would create 861 jobs during construction.
