Mavrek Development has announced that grocery chain Aldi will anchor the base of their mixed-use development at 1016 W. Jackson. Located at the intersection of W. Jackson Blvd and S. Morgan St, the property includes an existing five-story office building, a two-story commercial structure, and a large parking lot that will all be replaced as part of the project.

Designed by Eckenhoff Saunders, the development will stand 25 stories tall at a height of 275 feet. 380 apartments will be included in the building with 76 affordable apartments. Aldi will occupy the almost 22,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Parking in the building will include 163 parking stalls and 380 bike parking spaces.
