Weidner Apartment Homes closed a dual community deal on two properties in Minneapolis by acquiring Blue Apartments and Lime Apartments. Blue Apartments is a two-building, five-story, 242-unit property built in 2008, and Lime Apartments is a singular, six-story building with 171 units built in 2014. The assets are within a block of each other, and due to their proximity, Weidner combined the communities and renamed the properties Blue and Lime Apartments. Blue and Lime offers 21,755 square feet of commercial space and 330,186 square feet of rentable space.
