Dive Brief:
Amazon Fresh debuted four new stores on Thursday, including its first in Northern California and locations in Illinois, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

All of the newly opened supermarkets offer Amazon’s Dash Cart automated grocery carts and Amazon One, the company’s palm-recognition technology. 

These new stores are beginning operations as Amazon continues its efforts to revitalize its brick-and-mortar supermarket chain.
