Venture III’s final close coincides with the successful deployment of its $524 million predecessor vehicle, Alterra IOS Venture II. Venture II was also in excess of its original target fund size and hitting its hard cap. Today, Alterra is one of the largest institutional owners of IOS in the United States with approximately $3 billion of assets under management.
