Data center company DataBank Inc. has plans to build a more than 425,000-square-foot facility in the Ellis County community of Red Oak.

According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Dallas-based company will construct the two-story data center with an office component starting in September.

The project, designed by Mansfield’s JHET Architects, comes with a construction cost of $256 million, according to the filing.
