One of North Texas’ busiest developers will start this week on a massive mixed-use project in Grayson County that includes thousands of homes. The site is close to where roughly $35 billion in semiconductor-related expansions are planned. Centurion American Development Group will begin its work on Cottonwood, a development near the small city of Dorchester, the company announced Friday. The site is located just north of McBee Road and extends to FM 902. It’s 55 miles north of Dallas and just south of Sherman. Centurion will start on a 678-acre property expected to hold 2,156 homes. The houses will be built in five phases.
