An affordable housing developer is partnering with an arm of the San Antonio Housing Trust to build more than 1,100 apartments across four complexes on the city’s South Side. 

Lincoln Avenue Communities is building a 308-unit complex at Old Pearsall Road and Ray Ellison Boulevard near Pearsall Park. It will set aside 261 units for people making up to 60% of the area median income and 47 for people earning up to 30% of the area median income. It’s expected to be finished in 2025.

On adjacent land, the company plans another 237 apartments for senior citizens. Some 213 units will be reserved for people making up to 60% of the area median income and the other 24 will be for people earning up to 30% of the area median income. It’s scheduled to be finished in 2026.
