After years of uncertainty, Google has confirmed it will occupy the massive "sail" tower in Downtown Austin. On Tuesday, the tech giant confirmed to KVUE it will move into the 35-story, 804,000-square-foot skyscraper on West Second Street later this year.

Google has held the lease for the building since 2019, but the tower has remained empty since it was finished in 2022. After the pandemic, Google delayed moving workers into the building.
