Fort Worth-based Canyon Ranch will begin constructing a new, $121 million luxury wellness resort near Lake Travis later this year, according to a state filing. The spa developer and its investor, VICI, announced their intentions to come to the area two years ago. Canyon Ranch Austin is expected to begin welcoming guests as the fifth all-inclusive wellness resort in the Canyon Ranch portfolio. The 223,700-square-foot building will include guest lodging, a spa, a fitness center, a medical clinic, dining and administrative facilities. Construction is set to begin in August and wrap up in July 2026.
